Plyometric training is when one performs movements such as dynos, in conditions of muscular contraction. If I am training on a campus board and I let myself drop onto a lower edge, I absorb the fall with both my arms and immediately I lunge up as high as possible. This type of exercise is enormously efficient in improving power, but it also has a high level of danger (traumas and inflammation) The same can be said for dynos.
